ROSE QUARTZ ( गुलाबी स्फटिक )
This semi transparent to translucent variety occurs in various tones and intensities of red, ranging from pink to rose red to pale rose. Aniline dyes are sometimes employed to produce the deeper shades or more uniform colors in low quality material. The dyed stones usually have a somewhat unnatural appearance and tend to fade and lose color more rapidly than the genuine. Asterism is sometimes exhibited.
