What is the difference between a diamond and a zirconia?

Zirconia usually refers to Cubic Zirconia, also known as American Diamond or Jarkan. It is a synthetic crystalline material made from zirconium dioxide (ZrO₂). In contrast, a diamond is a natural gemstone composed of pure carbon and is formed deep inside the Earth over millions of years.

In Vedic astrology, a diamond is worn to strengthen the planet Venus (Shukra), while Cubic Zirconia is considered a substitute for diamond, mainly due to its similar appearance but much lower cost.
